IEQ Capital

This past summer, I interned at IEQ Capital, a wealth management firm. I particularly enjoyed this experience because I got to combine my love for communication with my love forfinance. Through the IEQ University online classes, I expanded my understanding of financial terms, such as MOIC, IRR, and historical loss ratio, as well as my knowledge of real estate investing, private equity, and venture capital. The highlight of my internship was pitching an alternative investment to a group of executives, and how it challenged me to think on my feet when responding to their intense questions.

Quitch

The summer after my sophomore year, I worked at Quitch, a skincare startup. I helped develop their new product line to ensure it appealed to teens, their target audience. My job included consulting on products and testing them out, as well as focusing on the various components involved in a successful product launch.
